Myonerv was highlighted at the 8th International Cambridge Neuroscience Symposium as a next-generation neurotechnology working to improve recovery outcomes for stroke patients.
The symposium brought together leading voices in neuroscience, including Professor Tim Denison FREng (former Medtronic Vice President), who spoke on new research into predictive stimulation triggering for Deep Brain Stimulators to enable more targeted therapeutic effects, and Professor George Malliaras, who presented on novel bio-electrodes that interface with the nervous system to treat neurological disease.
Being featured alongside this calibre of research placed Myonerv at the centre of cutting-edge neurotechnology development from around the world. The company is preparing to begin trialling its prototype with patients during PPIE sessions in the coming months, working toward its goal of returning real-time movement to paralysed limbs.
