UK Hospital to Community HealthTech Accelerator, Backed by Innovate UK

Myonerv has been selected as one of ten founders on a new UK Hospital/Community HealthTech Accelerator, backed by Innovate UK, supporting startups working to shift healthcare from a system people go to into one that meets them where they are.

The programme was launched in recognition of the pressures facing the UK health system today — siloed data, fragmented care pathways and staff burnout among them — and a model still too often built around diagnosing and treating illness rather than predicting and preventing it. The ten companies selected are each tackling a different piece of that challenge, spanning prevention, diagnostics, chronic condition management and care delivery.

Myonerv joins a cohort that includes Sensore (automated pressure ulcer prevention mapping), Papcup (non-invasive cervical screening), Arcus Dental (digital dental check-ups from home), Punto Health (AI-powered dementia management), Auracare (AI-powered primary care triage), Dotplot (early breast cancer detection from home), Circe (clinical group therapy for women), William Oak Diagnostics (integrated diagnostics for nutritional deficiencies), and Lifeyear (a modern operating system for cardiac care) — with Myonerv represented for its wearable medical device to monitor and treat stroke-induced paralysis.

The accelerator’s backers, partners and advisors are providing hands-on support to each startup throughout the programme, with the wider Innovate UK team helping bring the cohort together.
